For me, there’s nothing more exciting — from a design collection perspective — than completing a mockup and seeing what your designs look like on products and clothing, on couches, curtains, and duvet covers in a home setting. Designing and creating collections can sometimes feel like working in a vacuum. I’m always trying to crate a variety of patterns within a collection, but you never really know how it’s all going to gel until you see the collection in a room setting or on a product.

I recently did a mockup of a loft-styled living room. The collection I chose to feature in this living room is “Butterfly Wings and Whimsy.” It’s a fun and airy collection full of butterfly patterns. I wasn’t able to use all of the patterns in the mockup, but I sure LOVE the ones that I selected.
